Sayulita is located just 30 miles from the Puerto Vallarta International airport.
Sayulita is truly a surfer's paradise, offering lessons and board rentals of all types. The bay has a nice break that is perfect for beginners but offers plenty of fun and challenges for advanced surfers as well. Sayulita is also a great place to learn Stand Up Paddleboarding.
There are additional surf breaks nearby for experienced surfers (day trips, etc.) We are fortunate to have several world class surfers call Sayulita home. Even if you don’t surf, watching the surfers from the beach is fun!
If you are a foodie, Sayulita will thrill you with the multitude of eating establishments, from street tacos to fine dining with tables draped with white linen.
Sayulita is famous for fresh, local seafood. Be sure to ask about the catch of the day - you can’t go wrong with Dorado (Mahi Mahi), it is so delicious! For those who may grow weary of Mexican food, there are many Italian, Mediterranean, and fusion restaurants to enjoy something different.
